OPODO APPOINTS SALLY BALCOMBE AS COMMERCIAL AND PRODUCT DIRECTOR

Opodo has today announced that it has appointed existing Product Director, Sally Balcombe, as Commercial
and Product Director. Sally has been with Opodo since February 2005, and has overseen the product
diversification of Opodo including an enhanced hotel programme, launched at the end of 2005 and
Opodo's new dynamic packaging facility, due to be fully launched in Q2 2006. Sally joined Opodo from TUI (prior to which Sally was at BA for a number of years) and will continue to report directly to CEO Simon Vincent. Sally's role will involve managing the integration of the commercial and product departments within Opodo. "I am delighted to be entrusted with this new key role at Opodo," comments Sally, "particularly at such a critical time in Opodo's history, when we are looking to continue our growth across Europe and capitalise on the successes of the past 18 months. "One of my first tasks will be to ensure that Opodo has a fully integrated approach to the commercial cycle," continues Sally, "from the sourcing of products to the sales and marketing implementation through to optimising the conversion of all products across all our sites. Bringing together the commercial and product departments will ensure this becomes a reality."
